Who am I?
My name is Alexandra Lawrence. I am an electrical engineering student. I am a runner. I am an entrepreneur. All of that, is surface level. We are so often defined by what we do for work or in our day to day lives. We are boxed into these labels that keep us trapped. If we do not commit to continuous change in our lives, we will become stuck and risk missing what all is out there. So who am I? I plan on exploring that through this blog – applying lessons learned through trials, tribulations, successes, and wins to my future self.
Why?
“People are capable, at any time in their lives, of doing what they dream of”. – Paulo Coelho
One of my biggest fears in life is living an ordinary one. In every avenue of my life, I strive to maximize my potential. I have massive dreams, and as proven time and time again by people who have reached their “escape velocities” out of normal life and into their best selves. This can take many forms. Success does not necessarily mean making millions or being famous, but rather living in a way that feels right. When you are on that path, you’ll know. In my pursuit of finding my path, I have had no shortage of setbacks. I hope through this blog to be able to give people the resources they need to find their path. Whether you are on similar trajectory to me, and can learn directly from my experiences, or you are on a completely different planet, I think you’ll be able to gain something valuable from following along.
